DIJON – GREAT WINES AND OLD VINTAGES This auction will bring together two exceptional private collections, rich in fine old wines, alongside a number of lots from various sources. Burgundy will take centre stage, with significant collections of bottles from historic estates: Charles Noëllat, Gros, Henri Gouges, Drouhin-Laroze, Clair-Daü, as well as some of the most sought-after names today: Georges Roumier, Sylvain Cathiard, Jean-Louis Trapet, Armand Rousseau, Dujac and Ponsot. Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Bonnes-Mares and Clos de la Roche are represented in a remarkable succession of vintages, from the 1950s right through to the 2010s. Champagne will also feature prominently, with a substantial collection of old vintages and prestigious cuvées: Dom Ruinart, Dom Pérignon, Bollinger R.D., Champagne Charlie, La Grande Dame, Belle Époque, Grand Siècle, Sir Winston Churchill, Louis XV, not to mention champagnes from Krug, Gosset and Philipponnat. Numerous magnums and several jeroboams round off this collection. Bordeaux will be represented by several Premier Grand Cru Classés, notably Lafite-Rothschild, Mouton-Rothschild, Haut-Brion and Cheval Blanc, whilst lovers of Jura wines will find a few rarities, including the ‘vins jaunes’ from Pierre Overnoy and Jacques Puffeney. A wonderful opportunity for wine lovers and collectors to discover historic estates, old vintages and a few bottles that have become particularly hard to come by. AUCTION STARTS AT 10.00 AM FOR CHAMPAGNES AND 2.15 PM FOR THE REST OF THE AUCTION. Expert: Aymeric de CLOUET
