TERMS OF PURCHASE:
Category D weapons: Historical or collectable weapons dating from before 1900 and certain bladed weapons (knives, truncheons). Auction hall and live sales
Available for unrestricted sale to adults only, upon presentation of proof of identity.
Category C firearms, including Category C6 and C7 ammunition: Hunting firearms (shotguns, rifles). Auction hall and live sales
Buyers are required to register: the following documents must be provided:
- Valid identity document,
- Hunting licence valid for the current year, or FFT licence valid for the current year, or clay pigeon shooting licence valid for the current year
- Active SIA account and SIA number
- Proof of address
- For C6 and C7 ammunition, proof of ownership of a firearm of the relevant calibre
Category B firearms: Handguns (pistols, revolvers), certain semi-automatic firearms. No postal delivery available; must be collected from the auction house.
Sales are by auction only, by written order (or telephone), and the required documents must be submitted 8 days before the sale by email to:

Professional gunsmiths holding authorisations for the acquisition, sale and trade of Category B1 firearms and ammunition. They must present, prior to the sale, the originals of the relevant authorisations, a KBIS certificate issued within the last three months, and a valid identity document.
For private individuals,
Buyers subject to declaration: documents that must be provided:
- Valid proof of identity,
- FFT licence valid for the current year.
- Active SIA account (with authorisation recorded in the SIA) and SIA number
- Proof of address
As these are second-hand firearms, they are sold ‘as is’ without any guarantee from the firm or the expert. It is the bidders’ responsibility to inspect the lots before they are put up for auction.
All firearms must be inspected before use.
COLLECTION
For Category D items, collection is possible on the day of the sale, at the end of the sale only, and after payment by credit card or immediate bank transfer. For deliveries (Categories D and C), please contact the carriers.
For categories C and B, payment must be made by credit card or immediate bank transfer, and collection is MANDATORY on Friday 10 July 2062 from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. For categories B, A1 and ammunition: no dispatch is possible; collection on site is mandatory.
Administrative fees: for Category C and B firearms: €30 (including VAT) for 1 to 5 firearms; €50 (including VAT) for 6 to 10 firearms; and €80 (including VAT) for more than 10.
PLEASE NOTE: For Category C and B firearms, the weapon will be released at a later date following verification that the purchaser is not listed on the National Register of Persons Prohibited from Acquiring and Possessing Firearms (FINIADA). If the purchaser is listed in this register, the sale will automatically be void; however, the purchaser will not be entitled to a refund, having placed a bid despite the ban applying to them.
