Terms of sale
We are pleased to present the third instalment of Mr B.’s collection of antique paintings and drawings, dating from the second half of the 19th century through to the 20th century. This new instalment forms part of a remarkable collection, assembled with rigour, patience and passion. It bears witness, once again, to the discerning eye of a collector whose choices have been guided by a profound artistic sensibility. Bringing together both older and modern works, Mr B.’s collection traces a unique journey, revealing a distinct taste and an intimate knowledge of art history. Over the years, Mr B. has succeeded in establishing a harmonious dialogue not only between different periods and styles, but also between artists and schools from France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and elsewhere. He has thus managed to build up a coherent and substantial collection of paintings and drawings. This new sale offers a remarkable opportunity to explore a unique world and to acquire both antique and modern works from a private collection. We invite art lovers and collectors to follow this auction closely.
