FOR ALL PURCHASES OF CATEGORY C FIREARMS: The purchaser must:

Have opened a SIA account and ensured all documents are up to date, whether you are a hunter or a marksman, solely for the purposes of the purchase ([email protected] / tel 02 54 78 45 58)

MUST present their identity card and a valid French hunting licence only (valid for 2026/2027 or 2027/2028) or a valid French shooting licence only. Category C firearms will only be issued following a check against the FINIADA database. The registration fee per weapon is 30 euros, payable by the purchaser (for both private individuals and professionals). Holders of a hunting licence must have created their SIA account. If the purchaser of a Category C firearm is listed in the FINIADA register, the sale will automatically be deemed void. Foreign nationals who do not hold these documents must be represented by a French gunsmith for the purchase.
FOR ALL PURCHASES OF CATEGORY D FIREARMS (FREELY AVAILABLE): you must be of legal age and provide proof of identity (national identity card or passport)
SALES FEES: 25% and 14.28% (* for court-ordered lots) - Additional registration fee: €30 per Category C firearm, payable by the purchaser
