GUARANTEE: In accordance with our terms and conditions of sale, we are available prior to the sale to provide any information regarding the condition of the lots on offer, and we welcome you to the public viewing. No claims regarding the condition of the lots will be accepted after the sale. Lots described as ‘gold’ without further specification are 750 mil gold. Gemstones and pearls may have undergone enhancement treatments (oiling for emeralds, heat treatment for sapphires or rubies, bleaching for pearls). These enhancements are considered traditional and are accepted within the international trade in gemstones and pearls. Consequently, these treatments are not mentioned in the catalogue. The weights of the stones are stated where they have been weighed loose. The sizes of the stones are given for information purposes only, as the stones have not been removed from their settings. In accordance with Article L321-7 of the Commercial Code, civil liability claims arising from valuations and voluntary or judicial sales of movable property at public auction are subject to a limitation period of five years from the date of the auction or valuation. The colours of the items shown are not guaranteed, and as our image processing incorporates AI, the photographs are for illustrative purposes only. In the event of a tie between bids made in the auction room and on the live streaming platform, or in the event of an operational error by the live streaming platform operator resulting in an incorrect sale price, the result recorded in the minutes drawn up by the auction house shall prevail. SHIPPING: We do not arrange any dispatch or shipping; these services are provided on request by MAILBOXES, GTS Fine Art, THE PACKENGERS or any other service provider appointed by the buyer. We reserve the right to refuse to dispatch an item if we consider it to be either too bulky or too fragile. For any purchase of an item made wholly or partly from an organic material protected by the Washington Convention, in particular elephant ivory, rhinoceros horn, etc., the procedures for export outside the EEC are entirely the responsibility of the purchaser, whether with the French customs authorities or those of the country into which the item is to be imported. The Enghien Auction House shall in no way be held liable for any difficulties or refusals of export that may arise after the sale.
