As a pre-auction viewing is organised to assess the condition of the items and the composition of the lots, no claims will be accepted after the auction, regardless of the bidding method. All bids are final; there is no right of withdrawal. The lots awarded shall remain at the risk and expense of the successful bidders from the moment the auction is declared, even if delivery has not yet taken place, for whatever reason, in particular whilst awaiting payment. The auction house cannot be held liable in the event of damage or loss. Consequently, as soon as the bid is declared successful, the successful bidder must immediately take out insurance to cover the items they have just acquired, irrespective of the collection dates. Dismantling, loading and chartering are exclusively at the purchaser’s expense and under the purchaser’s sole responsibility – no personnel and/or equipment will be provided on site by our firm. The on-site exhibition enables enthusiasts to assess the quality and condition of the equipment. It also allows them to assess the context and location of the equipment within the premises, as well as the material and human resources required to remove it without causing damage to the premises. Successful bidders will therefore be responsible for collecting the items, which must be collected within the specified timeframes. Collection must take place within 15 days of the sale, in accordance with the allocated time slots.
