Up to €1,000 including fees and taxes where the payer is resident for tax purposes within the French Republic or in a member state of the European Union and is not acting in the course of a professional activity. Up to €15,000 for foreign nationals upon presentation of their passports and a tax certificate confirming they are not liable for tax in France. Insofar as the limits set out in Article L112-6 of the Monetary and Financial Code, as referred to above, relate to the total amount of the debt payable, the authorised auctioneer is also prohibited from accepting payment in instalments or splitting an invoice to issue several invoices for amounts below the limit. - By certified cheque in euros, upon presentation of two valid identity documents and a letter of authorisation from their bank.
