Viewing of lots: A viewing session is scheduled for Tuesday 28 August 2026 from 1.30 pm to 2.00 pm at the VIRE auction house, 4 Rue René Châtel. The purpose of the viewings is to enable all buyers to check the condition and contents of the lot. We strongly encourage you to attend. Please note that no claims regarding the condition or contents of the lot will be accepted after the sale. Lots sold ‘BY DESCRIPTION’ are not on display at the auction house, as these are sold on the basis of photographs. Collection of lots: Lots must be collected no later than 15 days after the sale, i.e. by 4 September 2026, as the auction house will be closed from 15 to 30 August inclusive. FOR LOTS SOLD BY DESCRIPTION: COMING SOON No collection will be possible after this date. After this deadline, any lot not collected will be deemed abandoned, with no possibility of a refund or recourse. Dismantling and collection: Each buyer is responsible for their lot as soon as the bid is accepted. Dismantling and collection must be carried out in a professional manner and with due regard for the premises: no damage must be caused to walls, floors, doors or any other structure. In the event of damage, the full cost of repairs shall be borne by the purchaser concerned. For equipment requiring disconnection (electricity, plumbing, etc.), the buyer must provide the necessary materials: connectors, plugs, suitable wrenches, etc. No water damage or electrical accidents must be caused. Should any items be missing, the replacement costs shall be borne in full by the purchaser concerned. Purchase of vehicles: Following payment, the purchaser will receive their receipt and a copy of the vehicle registration document, for insurance purposes and in the event of a roadside check. The vehicle documentation (certificate of sale, the original crossed-out registration certificate, and any other documents relating to the vehicle) will be sent by the firm to the purchaser by registered post within 48 hours (working days) of the sale.
