Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer or cash, up to a limit of €1,000 (including fees) per invoice. Payment by cheque is not accepted. For online bidders, the credit card registered during your registration will be automatically debited at the end of the sale. The successful bidder is responsible for their lots from the moment the bid is accepted. The Auction House cannot be held liable for any delay, damage, deterioration or loss of the item during transport. Under certain conditions, as set out by the ADAGP, the acquisition of a work may give rise to the payment of a resale royalty. Under Article L321-11 of the Commercial Code, civil liability claims arising from appraisals and voluntary or judicial sales of movable property at public auction are subject to a limitation period of five years from the date of the award or the appraisal. This limitation is set out in Article 2232 of the Civil Code. In the event of a dispute, you are free to refer the matter to the government commissioner in order to seek an amicable resolution to the dispute.
