The sale is for cash only. Legal fees in addition to the hammer price: 14.28% including VAT; additional LIVE auction fees of 1% (excl. VAT) for items in the ‘Furniture and Works of Art’ and ‘Professional Equipment’ categories, and €40 (excl. VAT) per vehicle for items purchased via INTERENCHERES. Payment by credit card, bank transfer or cash only, up to a limit of €1,000; CHEQUES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Items must be collected immediately after the sale, subject to full payment having been received. Prices are inclusive of VAT; VAT is recoverable on certain lots for taxable buyers. As the bailiff, by virtue of their status, acts as an agent on behalf of the seller, it is the seller of the VAT-taxable item who is solely responsible for declaring and paying VAT to the relevant tax authorities. IMPORTANT: As this is a judicial sale, the goods are sold without any warranty of any kind. Vehicles are accompanied by a roadworthiness certificate where practicable. The successful bidder shall be responsible for ensuring the vehicle complies with the relevant regulations and shall be bound by all laws relating to road use. The successful bidder shall be obliged to insure the vehicle from the moment the sale is declared. Should the deadlines be exceeded, STORAGE CHARGES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CURRENT RATES OF THE SERVICE PROVIDERS OR CUSTODIANS will apply, as well as transport costs where necessary. For small items stored on the judicial officer’s premises, a MINIMUM OF 3 EUROS PER DAY PER LOT will apply, as well as transport costs where necessary. EXPORT: A VAT refund may only be granted if the goods are exported within one month of the sale. The refund will be made by bank transfer to the successful bidder’s account within 3 months of the sale, upon presentation of supporting documentation. WARNING: The successful bidder is personally liable for any unauthorised use, modification or reproduction of any software that may be included in the computer equipment sold. Under no circumstances shall the auctioneer be held liable if the successful bidder is found guilty of the infringement provided for in Article 335-3 of the Industrial Property Code.
