The auction house MESENCHERES.FR and the firm of Judicial Officers, ABCJUSTICE, accept the following methods of payment: - Credit cards (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard) via an online payment link. - Cash up to 1,000 euros (including fees) for French nationals who are not professional bidders, and up to 10,000 euros (including fees) for nationals whose tax residence is abroad. - Bank transfers Cheques will not be accepted. Non-payment: In accordance with the provisions of Article L321-14 of the Commercial Code, in the event of non-payment by the successful bidder, following a formal notice that has remained unheeded, the item will be put up for sale again at the seller’s request on the basis of a void bid by the defaulting successful bidder: if the seller does not make such a request within one month of the auction, the seller grants us full authority to act in their name and on their behalf for the purpose of, at our discretion, either to bring proceedings against the purchaser for the annulment of the sale, or to bring proceedings against the purchaser for the enforcement and payment of the said sale, claiming in addition, in both cases, any damages, costs and other sums which we deem appropriate.

Items will only be released to the buyer once the full purchase price, fees and taxes have been paid. Upon the award of the lot, the item will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder Any transport or dispatch of goods shall be carried out at the purchaser’s own risk and expense, as shall any costs associated with such operations. The list of carriers we may recommend is merely a suggestion, and the purchaser is free to choose the service provider of their choice. The location and collection times for lots will be indicated in the advertisement, under the ‘venue’ and/or ‘information’ sections of the publication websites, and when the auctioneer announces the start of the sale. Lots in the ‘WORKS OF ART’ category may be collected from the auction house within one month, with no storage charges. From one month after the end of the sale, buyers will be charged: €5 (excl. VAT) per day for small items (display items, jewellery, leather goods, paintings smaller than 150x150cm, etc.). 15 euros excl. VAT per day for bulky items (furniture, sculptures, paintings larger than 150x150cm, etc.). For vehicles, storage charges will be waived for one week from the date of the sale. After one week, buyers will be charged: For VEHICLES, one week will be free of charge. Thereafter, the following charges will apply: €30 (excl. VAT) per day for vehicles. €20 (excl. VAT) per day for scooters.
