Assembled by a single collector, this selection of wines offered at auction reveals a taste for both renowned names and lesser-known wines from independent winemakers. From France to Italy, it paints a picture of an eclectic cellar, where terroirs, generations and styles come together. In Bordeaux, Petrus, Château Lafleur and Château Cheval Blanc are among the standout wines in this collection. Burgundy is notably represented by Mugneret-Gibourg’s Échezeaux and Domaine Ponsot’s Clos de la Roche. The Rhône Valley occupies a prominent place, from Château Rayas to Jean-Louis Chave’s Hermitages. La Grange des Pères and Jacques Selosse champagnes round off this selection of sought-after labels. Italy also features prominently, with Barolo and Barbaresco, the wines of Roagna and those of Giuseppe Quintarelli.
