Thursday 22 October 2026 at 2.30 pm [Live only] Pewter – Antiques – Decorative Arts “Boucaud Clearance Sale” The Boucaud family needs no introduction. Five generations of Parisian experts and dealers. At the end of the war, Charles Boucaud set up shop on Rue du Bac, specialising in the High Middle Ages, curiosities and folk art, which led him to study pewter. From visits to the auction halls of the Hôtel Drouot to flea markets in Paris and the provinces, the Boucauds made some remarkable finds, built up their personal collections and expanded their stock, which they sold in their shop. In the 2000s, Philippe BOUCAUD moved to Béziers to join his son Jean-Christophe, who, in addition to antiques, had set up a company specialising in lanterns and decorative items, sourced from all corners of the globe. In 2026, the company ceased trading; however, they remain experts for auction houses and continue to acquire fine collections. MAGNIN WEDRY Sarl, which has been working with them for many years, is now delighted to present at auction the stock remaining following the closure of their company.
