TERMS OF PAYMENT, STORAGE and SHIPMENT
1 - COSTS TO BE BORNE BY THE BUYER
In addition to the hammer price, the buyer will pay :
25% inclusive of tax, plus :
> 1.80% inclusive of tax if purchased via Interencheres.com or Drouot .com.
> resale right (where applicable): this only applies to original works by living artists or artists who have been dead for less than 70 years, and only for auctions of €750 or more. The rate is 4% from €750 to €50,000, then 3% from €50,001 to €200,000, in accordance with the decree of 9 May 2007, to which reference should be made for other brackets and any additional information.
As soon as the sale is announced, the purchaser assumes full responsibility for the purchases and is responsible for insuring them if necessary.
2 - PAYMENT IN CASH is required on receipt of the adjudication slip.
- For buyers by telephone or via Drouot.com: As soon as the hammer price is awarded, the successful bidder must give his name and address and make cash payment either by BANK CARD, TRANSFER, or CASH (€1,000 for French individuals and €15,000 for others with proof of passport).
- For buyers via Interencheres.com: It all depends on the total amount of your slip, which will be sent to you by e-mail after the sale.
> If the total is less than €1,200, your bank card registered with Interencheres will be debited unless you request otherwise by email to art@accord-encherescom. In the event of a counter-order, you must pay immediately by one of the other means of payment available to buyers in the auction room or by telephone.
> If the total is greater than €1,200, we will send you a 3D SECURE link that you simply need to follow to proceed with payment. As a reminder, in application of article L 441-6 of the French Commercial Code, any delay in payment will result in a penalty calculated on the basis of 3 times the legal interest rate in force. In addition, in the event of collection, each auction slip will be subject to a fixed penalty of €40 excluding VAT.
Any successful bidder of an auction slip that remains unpaid to SARL ACCORD ENCHÈRES or that has been subject to late payment is likely to be registered in the TEMIS File (of those prohibited from accessing auction sales) (see the exhaustive conditions of sale).
3 - DELIVERY OF LOTS - STORAGE COSTS FOR LATE PICK-UPS
Lots may be delivered to the public with or without an appointment during opening hours. Winners are advised to collect their lots within a week to avoid any storage and guarding costs, which are mentioned in the conditions of sale.
4 - DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
For all item shipments (excluding furniture), we work with MAILBOXES, a professional packaging and shipping company. All you have to do is send them an e-mail requesting a quote together with your packing slip to
[email protected] or contact them on +33 (0)3 44 22 42 84. You can also request a quote from THE PACKENGERS or any other carrier of your choice.
For the transport of furniture and objects, we can put you in contact with specialised transporters.
