20. Anonymous, Haute Couture collection, circa 1928. Short evening dress in embroidered pink muslin.
Oval necklines, wide straps, sleeveless, skirt with asymmetrical hems at the sides. The whole garment is decorated with gold tubular bead embroidery.
Handwritten note: “Evening gown from 1928, made by Mrs Charlotte Bardery, who had previously been head dressmaker at Redfern and subsequently at Madeleine Vionnet.
