If we divide the painting with a horizontal line, we see these two worlds, these two Trinities. The composition is also in the shape of a cross, the Divine Trinity in the vertical, God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, and God the Son; and below, the Human Trinity standing on earth, Mary, the Holy Mother of God, and Saint Joseph, both parents of Jesus who holds their hands, making them one with Heaven, at which he gazes.
