KWOMA, Washkuk, Papua New Guinea. A very ancient ‘Eki or Egi’ dagger made from cassowary bone with a dark patina, engraved with circular patterns, meandering lines and other clan motifs. Traces of fibres are still visible. L. 34 m. (minor chips). Provenance: Private collection in Sologne (by inheritance).
