An imposing ‘Ngoin’ helmet-mask worn during royal ceremonies and representing the first wife of ‘Kam’, the Sultan. The face, with its rounded features, has bulging eyes, protruding ears, an open mouth revealing bleached teeth, and prominent cheeks symbolising abundance, wealth and fertility.
