Georges Préveraud de Sonneville (1889–1978) Yvonne and the children on the beach at St Jean de Luz Oil on board, bearing the studio stamp on the reverse 27 x 35 cm Condition report: Framed Trained in Paris, where, whilst living with Edouard Goerg, he attended classes taught by Paul Sérusier and Maurice Denis at the Académie Ranson, before returning to Bordeaux. Called up by the Gironde prefecture during the First World War, he shared an office there with André Lhote, with whom he produced watercolours. He was extremely prolific as a painter during the Roaring Twenties.
