Description
Large round medal from the International Hunting Exhibition, Vienna, 1910, official design, in gilded metal, bearing the profile of Emperor FranzJoseph I and, on the obverse, a woman drawing a bow, signed: ‘R. MARSCHALI. FEC?’; diameter 89.5 mm; presentedin a large round case in red morocco leather; diameter 14.5 cm. Also included is an octagonal bronze medal from the same exhibition in Vienna, 1910; width 69.5 mm; presentedin its square leather case, lined with green velvet, decorated on the top with palm fronds, signed, on the inside of the lid: ‘M. MUNK WIEN’; 9 x 9 cm. Period piece, Austria, 1910. Very good condition.
