Description
First-class medal of the Order of the Sacred Treasury, founded in 1888, in silver and vermeil, with white and blue enamelled arms, the centre surrounded by red enamel pearls; vermeil reverse bearing an inscription of four Japanese characters, two hooks and a folding pin; diameter 75 mm, gross weight 92.64 g. Displayed on the lower part of the casket. (A few small scratches on the tips of some of the branches).
Period: Japan, early 20th century. Good condition.
