Commander’s set of the Order of Nicham al Iftikhar:
Silver cross with diamond-tipped points and enamel, signed on the reverse: ‘No. 46 KRETLY Palais-Royal’. PARIS?, gold ring with a repoussé eagle’s head; diameter 60.5 mm, height 90 mm, gross weight 52.92 g; with its ribbon.
Silver plaque with repoussé diamond points, enamelled centre bearing the monogram of Bey Mohamed Es Sadok (1859–1882); it bears on the reverse the same mark as the cross, two hooks and a folding pin; diameter 81 mm, gross weight 88.05 g.
Period: Tunisia, late 19th century. Very good condition.
