Large 4to, [16]-155-1p.b.-239-1p.b.-131-1p.b.-312-233-[3]-1p.b. pp., first edition of this chronicle of Alsace, providing an accurate description of Lower Alsace on the banks of the Rhine, including the main towns, the history of the counts and bishops of the county and bishopric of Strasbourg, illustrated with a large number of coats of arms engraved in the text and a fold-out plate, most of the coats of arms having been subsequently enhanced in colour. Brown half-shagreen binding with corner pieces, spine decorated with five raised bands, all edges red. Handwritten inscription at the top of the title page.
