WHITE BLUE PORCELAIN COVERED URN, China, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (1662-1722)
Baluster-shaped, resting on a small, slightly flared foot, with two handles decorated with animal heads, the body decorated with emblems and figures in two large lobed cartouches, surrounded by flowering branches (lotus and prunus), the lid decorated with the eight Buddhist emblems (bajixiang); cracks in the glaze in the lower part.
