Rare and important tripod bronze incense burner with "gold-splashed" decoration
Of globular form, resting on three conical feet, fitted with two ring handles formed of rampant dragons applied to the lip. The exterior is embellished with gold projections contrasting with a beautiful golden-brown patina. The openwork wooden lid is decorated with a lotus motif, and the handle is made of hard marble. Resting on an adapted carved wooden base with floral decoration of superimposed petals radiating from the centre.
