Porcelain incense burner in the imitation of bronze
Of quadrangular form, resting on four arched legs, based on archaic "fang ding" vase models, with a large turquoise and gold enamelled decoration of stylized deer masks in the taotie style on the lower part of the body, a frieze of animal decoration on the upper part, and a background lined with leiwen. An apocryphal Qianlong mark under the base. With a matching wooden lid with a carved jade element at the top, resting on a matching wooden base.
