CHINA, Neolithic period, Hongshan culture
A rare yellow jade ornament, tubular in shape, flaring out towards a gadrooned upper end, carved in the shape of a horse's hoof, the other, narrower end is pierced by two holes. The yellow-coloured stone has russet mottling and white inclusions.
