Jean-Claude NOVARO (1943–2015). A free-form, organic vase in blown glass with a deep turquoise-green iridescent decoration featuring shifting metallic sheens; the body is shaped into broad folds and gathers, evoking drapery or an open floral form, and embellished with elements applied whilst the glass was still hot. The cylindrical neck is made of clear, frosted glass without an iridescent finish. Signed and dated on the base H_18.5 cm.
