A sculpture depicting a bare-chested warrior or hunter, kneeling, his body arched in a powerful backward twist, brandishing at arm’s length a large bow drawn high above his head. The figure, with highly defined athletic musculature and his face raised in visible exertion, wears nothing but a loincloth decorated with striations reminiscent of woven leather.
The sculpture rests on a rectangular plinth of veined white marble.
The bow is damaged and has been restored.
