Description
Polychrome enamelled snuff box on copper, China, 1780–1850
Rounded and flattened in shape, decorated with polychrome enamel on a light blue ground featuring stylised lotus flowers and scrollwork. The neck is decorated with a frieze of leiwen. The base is enamelled in white. Stopper in a copper alloy.
Height: 4.8 cm
Enamel missing from the shoulders and some restoration work.
