‘Moss’ agate snuff bottle, China, 1820–1880
Flattened rectangular in shape with rounded shoulders, the agate, in shades of ochre, red and white, offers a natural pattern and a play of light and shadow thanks to the bottle’s skilful hollowing. Oval foot. Rock crystal stopper.

A small chip on the inside of the base.
