Line cavalry sabre, Year XIII model, modified in 1816.
Leather-covered hilt with watermark, stamped brass mountings, registered, four-bladed crossguard with three rounded points. Straight blade with double fuller grooves, back engraved with remnants of the marking ‘Klingenthal 9bre 1813’. Point brought back to the centre. Iron sheet scabbard with two bands and a lyre-shaped tip.
