An Year IX model cavalry flintlock musket.
Round barrel with fluted breech dated B1812, breech tail. Lock marked ‘Mre IMPle de St Etienne’. Stamped brass fittings (except the muzzle cap). Stock with a single ring and iron rod. Walnut stock bearing a mark dated August 1812, with a chip on the counter-plate.
