CARTIER Square copper powder compact, entirely and finely chased with exotic animal motifs, enhanced with matt and translucent polychrome enamel. The hinged lid opens to reveal a mirror (shows signs of wear and has some missing parts). Circular clasp comprising a green stone set with a pink stone in a bezel setting. Signed CARTIER, numbered. Indian work ‘enhanced’ by CARTIER between 1938 and 1955. Dimensions: 7.2 x 7.2 x 1.1 cm.
