Salvador DALI (1904–1989) ‘Winged Angel’, 1966. A teardrop-shaped brooch in gilded bronze and glass. Signed ‘Dali’ on the front and dated 1966. Inscribed in Hebrew with “Israel” on its perforated wing. Dimensions: 6 x 5 cm. This piece of jewellery was designed by Salvador Dalí in 1966 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel.
