René LALIQUE (1860 – 1945) ‘Ceylan’ vase, also known as ‘Eight Parakeets’, a design created in 1924. A piece in white glass with an opalescent patina, pressed and moulded with a satin-matt and glossy finish (chips at the base and a small one along the rim) Signed with a point on the reverse. Height: 23.5 cm History: featured in the 1928 and 1932 catalogues and in the 1937 price list; not included after 1947.
