Very good condition, beautiful patina.
Approximately 10 cm diameter for the body and 27 cm wingspan in total.
Louis Renault and his brothers founded their company in Boulogne-Billancourt in 1898. 1913: creation of the Renault Oils company.
1944: Louis Renault arrested on 23 September for "trading with the enemy"; imprisoned in Fresnes, he died a victim of ill-treatment on 24 October. Nationalisation in 1945 for collaborating with the German occupiers, followed by privatisation in the 1990s.
