Original domed advertising enamel plate. 30 x 20 cm. "Émaillerie Alsacienne Strasbourg".
- Good condition - well preserved colours, beautiful shine of the enamel.
Discreet localized alterations at the edges.
A fine example with a beautiful curvature.
Ancel is an Alsatian brand founded in 1919 by Adolphe ANCEL, a former distributor of Dr. Oetker's products. He set up a factory in Strasbourg and developed his own brand (tête d'Alsacienne) for the French market. Initially specialising in yeast and gelatine, it launched Alsace sticks and pretzels in 1973.
