ARMAND-CALLIAT. A gilded metal bishop’s crozier in the Neo-Gothic style. The cross-shaft is crowned by a biblical Lamb in the round set within a foliage scroll; the shaft is adorned with small waves, geometric motifs, the episcopal coat of arms and the motto ‘Cor unum et anima una’ (One heart and one soul), whilst the knot is adorned with four medallions depicting the Virgin Mary and the holy bishops. The shaft consists of four sections. In its original case bearing the gilded inscription ‘ARMAND-CALLIAT Goldsmith in Lyon’ Total height: Dents on the crossbar. Total height: 180.5 cm
