A vermeil ciborium in the neoclassical style, with a scalloped base richly decorated with three cartouches depicting the instruments of the Passion alternating with Eucharistic symbols; the ring is framed by a laurel wreath, the ovoid knot decorated with Eucharistic symbols and palmettes; the bowl features three medallion profiles (Saint Peter, Jesus, the Virgin Mary) against a background of Eucharistic symbols, echoed on the lid. Height: 22.5 cm. Weight: 400 g. Vieillard hallmark, 1st title (1819–1838). Paris ‘Grosse Garantie’ hallmark. This ciborium has a bespoke compartment in the case from the previous lot.
