A pair of RELIC URNS in moulded and carved mahogany in the classical style; the circular base is carved with lanceolate leaves, the body is fluted, the upper section comprising three glazed reliquary niches revealing a mounting of ivory-coloured silk fabric and gold thread (Saint Clare, Saint Taurinus, Saint Mary of the Incarnation, Saint Mauxe, …) and a concealed access door, alternating with engraved foliage motifs; the lid is surmounted by a gilded cross 19th-century. Provenance: Carmelite Convent of Evreux Height: 52 cm A few scratches.
