Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin, KPM. Our Lady of Sorrows, after Guido Reni (1575–1642). Oil on porcelain. Engraved mark on the reverse. In a gilded wooden frame. Dimensions of porcelain panel: 34 x 28.5 cm. Overall dimensions: 46 x 41 cm. The work that inspired the Berlin manufactory is the ‘Virgin of Sorrows’ by Guido Reni (1575–1642), an oil on canvas held at the Gemäldegalerie in Berlin (inv. 363).
