Rare sculpture in partially lacquered and gilded bronze, representing the Buddha Bhaisajyaguru seated in vajrasana on a double lotus-shaped base, one hand placed in mudra towards the sky, the other holding a myrobalan fruit between his two fingers. Dressed in a dhoti with floral motifs on the border, and a long robe originally covered in gold and covering his shoulders. The face looks serene, the eyes half-closed, the thin mouth sketching a slight smile, the earlobes drooping, the hair formed by numerous spikes and surmounted by the ushnisha.
