Description
CHINA, 18th century, Qianlong period (1735-1796) Two porcelain plates of octagonal form with polychrome decoration of enamels of the pink family of semis of flowers and on the wing of garlands of flowers and the armorial bearings of the Spode family (Ireland) in a shield surmounted by a tortil and surrounded by the Hazard zit forward motto. One plate with three small chips. D. 22 cm A terrine from this service was sold at Christie's on 21 November 2008 under number 120.
