Quarto, paperback, original hardback cover (spine broken, some foxing) illustrated with compositions by Henri Achille Zo, engraved in colour by Eugène Decisy. First illustrated edition, featuring 18 original compositions. RARE! (partially untrimmed) Copy no. 63/98 for Henri Vever. Printed in a run of 130 copies. With its receipt from the Société du Livre d’Art dated 26 December 1908 and the menu for the Société du Livre d’Art’s annual dinner on 4 March 1909 at the Restaurant Henry, also illustrated by Henri Achille Zo. Henri Vever (1854–1942) was a renowned French jeweller of the Art Nouveau period.
