Figure with a Teapot, 1986

46 x 55 cm
Provenance:
- Private collection, donated by the artist, Niort.
Exhibition: Pierre Labadie, Caisse Régionale du Crédit Agricole des Deux-Sèvres, Niort, 1986.
An interesting composition that echoes the approach to pictorial space of the master: Paul Cézanne.
Indeed, *La femme à la cafetière* (c. 1890) is a composition depicting a figure deeply rooted in her surroundings. Pier’s version shows a woman depicted from the front in his characteristic style.
