Description
Sword of a re-enlisted non-commissioned officer of the Chasseurs à Pied, Model 1887, attributed to Eugène Rivoire de la Batie (1890–1914), who served in the Chasseurs.
Nickel-plated mount, single-branch guard, hilt with horn motif. Blade with fuller, stamped at the heel. Iron sheet scabbard with a single strap.
Oxidation. With a black braided sword knot.
