To purchase Category C firearms subject to registration, the purchaser must provide proof of identity and a valid hunting licence for the current year (or the previous year), or a valid shooting licence (or one from the previous year). Category C firearms will only be issued following a check against the FINIADA register (National Register of Persons Prohibited from Acquiring and Possessing Firearms). If the purchaser of a Category C firearm is listed in the FINIADA register, the sale will automatically be deemed void.
The purchaser must sign the digital police register and complete a CERFA form.
Since February 2022, purchasers of Category C rifles must hold a SIA account; please ensure you have this in place before bidding. Please ensure you have all the necessary information before bidding.
N.B.: Hunting or shooting weapons are sold ‘as is’, without warranty; no claims will be considered once the lot has been awarded, as the prior viewing has allowed buyers to examine the items, handle them and take all necessary measurements.
