Large male statue probably of an ancestor. Wood with faded grey patina. It features an imposing head, whose eyes are highlighted by shells, on a robust torso. The arms are slightly detached from the body and the hands rest on the basin. It stands on long legs, planted on the base, which allowed the young Initiates to pass through. The lower part features an indigenous repair. It was sculpted by Ansakomen, in the village of Piriger, around 1960.
