Description
A Chinese blue-and-white moulded beaker vase (gu). The vase is decorated in four registers in vivid shades of cobalt blue, with twenty-four lobed panels moulded in relief depicting a variety of mountainous and river landscapes, all divided by geometric borders and sprays of flowers. The base bears a leaf mark within a double ring. Kangxi period, 18th century. H: 51 cm, D: 23.5 cm.
